Great Product!, June 4, 2011

The bagger arrived in upstate NY. in perfect condition, in only four days! The assembly instructions were straightforward and I was very relieved that the unit fit my 2005 Husqvarna YTH2348 model perfectly! It performs very well and I would highly recommend this unit to anyone as I am very well satisfied!

BEWARE – possibly requires extra parts to work ( + ), March 2, 2011

THIS BAGGER WILL NOT WORK WITH CERTAIN TRACTORS depending on their serial #’s…..my purchase arrived yesterday, tried to fit it on my HUSQVARNA GTH2548 today…..the product box states it WILL fit this model…..IT WILL NOT…….extra cost part required @ plus shippig. Manufacturer customer service initially unhelpfull. They presented me with 2 options, return it to seller or buy the pieces needed for it to fit !!!!!!! In my opinion this is an example of faulty advertising and poor information available to the customer….Husqvarna’s own site does’nt mention any special extra parts. Cust svce states ‘certain mowers will require extra pieces for it to actually work as a bagger !!…ALTHOUGH’ YOU WILL NOT KNOW THIS UNTIL AFTER PURCHASE ………………….

so unless you want to shell out more $’s what you might end up with is a rather large paper weight ! I have subsequently asked at Sears & Lowes if extra parts are needed and was told, no, nothing is stated on the box…….I did this because cutomer service said this problem arose because of me not dealing with a person when ordering !!!

UPDATE UPDATE , moved up thru the chain in customer service, and after the Super’ looked into the issue and consulted with Tech folks, we reached a very amicable conclusion and I now have the extra piece needed- shipped over night!. The crazy thing is 2 styles of mower attachment brackets are already included as standard in original box, so one value part will be immediately thrown away depending on which mower model you own! plus certain customers will need to purchase a bracket thats needed but not included as standard ! why not have brackets more mower model specific included, ie If you have a Husq GTH2548 then bracket A, B, or C would be shipped with the item ? you would think that then the whole thing could drop in price as well.
